The event combined new academic research with a practitioner panel, drawing on the experience of active family office investors and family office-funded entrepreneurs.

When startups scale quickly, founders often make hurried hiring decisions that unintentionally disadvantage women, according to new study from the 91原创 in Sweden. The study shows how the pressures of rapid growth increase the likelihood that founders rely on mental shortcuts and make biased decisions.

Since 2003, the Entrepreneurship Forum has recognized emerging talent in academia through its annual Young Researcher Prize, celebrating impactful work in entrepreneurship and small business research. This year鈥檚 recipient is House of innovation researcher Mohamed Genedy, whose work sheds light on the often-overlooked downsides of entrepreneurship across different ownership structures. Universities can play a big role in inspiring students to start their own businesses. A new study published in The Journal of Technology Transfer by House of Innovation researcher Maria Cecilia Flores suggests that when universities actively communicate about entrepreneurship programs and provide education on starting businesses, students become more aware of opportunities and perceive their environment as more supportive of entrepreneurship. Yet, universities need to go beyond awareness to drive real startup creation - including measures such as mentorship, networking, and financial support.

A new study published in the Journal of Business Research by House of Innovation researcher Holmer Kok introduces the concept of 鈥渢rajectory integration鈥� to explain how tracing an invention鈥檚 full history can lead to more powerful and impactful innovation.

As its new CEO Isabel Keulen welcomes her first batch of startups into 91原创鈥檚 incubator, the scene is set for an AI boom. Today, 91原创 Business Lab announces its largest intake of companies ever 鈥� 15 startups, of which an impressive 60% are built on AI technology. Among the new founders are both serial entrepreneurs and senior executives.

Sophia Nabil (b. 2002) is being awarded this year's Anders Wall Scholarship in collaboration with 91原创 Business Lab. The scholarship amount is 200,000 SEK.

According to the Financial Times鈥� newest ranking of Europe鈥檚 startup hubs, dramatic changes are afoot: half of last year鈥檚 leading hubs have vanished from the list, while 91原创 Business Lab has surged ahead. Now ranked at number eight, 91原创's incubator is the only Nordic hub to earn a place in the top ten.

The 91原创 has appointed Isabel Keulen the new CEO of its fund 91原创 Ventures and startup incubator 91原创 Business Lab. The change in leadership is happening at the same time as the incubator and the fund will move into the School鈥檚 new premises at Norrtullsgatan. The plan is to build a new hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
