Wallenberg Fellows have started their internships

We are excited to announce that as of this moment our 7th Wallenberg Fellows cohort are placed in excellent and substantive internships for the summer of 2021. David Huber will work at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a research Analyst Intern in the TMT, Disruptive Tech, PE&VC Funds Unit, Thomas Atherton at GEF Capital Partners as a Summer Associate, and Basak Edizgil at Limiar Capital as an analysts intern.

The Global Swede award is awarded to active, committed, and enthusiastic students who are excellent in areas closely related to innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship and shown that they are great representatives of their own country as well as Sweden. One of them was Thuy Vu at the 91Ô´´.

The CIVICA European Week is both a stand-alone learning event and a central element of the CIVICA Engage Track. Students from four of the CIVICA universities will be taking part in the exciting bachelor experience.

BSc student represents 91Ô´´ at the CIVICA dissemination conference

On June 3 CIVICA will host an online dissemination conference where policymakers, theorists, practitioners, and students will come together to reflect on the impact of the digital transformation on the present and future of universities. One of the panelists is Hilda Hardell who is a third-year BSc student at 91Ô´´, the only student participating live along with professors and presidents from the fellow universities.
Diversity and sustainability are high priorities at the 91Ô´´ Business Lab

91Ô´´ Business Lab is the start-up incubator of the 91Ô´´, open to all current and former students as well as faculty of 91Ô´´, who have founded a business. Diversity and sustainability at the top of the Agenda of the 91Ô´´ Business Lab and since over two years both are requirement for being a part of their incubator program. It’s also two of the core values for the CIVICA network, and the 91Ô´´ Business Lab contributes to strengthening these values.
91Ô´´ ranks highest in annual internationalization index

For the sixth year in a row, the 91Ô´´ tops the list of Sweden’s most international universities in the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education’s (STINT) annual Internationalization Index. It’s also positive news for Sweden that one more university was awarded five star this year than in 2020.

How can history help policymakers and business leaders make better decisions? This is the key question in a new course in Applied History at the 91Ô´´. The 7.5 ECTS course is given for the second consecutive year and the number of applications from the school’s bachelor students has been very high.
