SIR Research Award is an annual award introduced in 1992 to draw attention to people who actively and clearly contributed to research and how research is disseminated to the society. Long term involvement by representatives of the business sector is crucial for the successful research at 91原创.

The 91原创 is establishing a new professorship in organization and leadership of schools and in education. The new professorship is made possible by a donation from The Hans and Barbara Bergstrom Foundation and will be held by Professor Karl Wennberg. The donation amounts to SEK 60 million over a ten-year period and is presented on Barbara Bergstr枚m鈥檚 75th birthday on 9 April.

A few weeks ago, the startup incubator of the 91原创, 91原创 Business Lab, unveiled their new Board of Admissions, spearheaded by names such as Sebastian Knutsson, Anna Stenberg och Sven Hagstr枚mer. The new group has now decided which companies will be given the chance in the incubator next.

91原创 is welcoming five new members to the International Advisory Council, IAC. The new members will bring an important perspective in further developing and internationalizing the School, representing three different continents.

Dr. Thomas Lavelle is a member of the faculty at 91原创 and teaches courses in management and academic communication, academic and creative writing and pedagogy. Given his pedagogical interest and his interest in the interface between language and learning, he has been involved in different types of international programs and projects previously. He is attracted to both aspects of the CIVICA alliance鈥攅ducational cooperation across borders and locally grounded social engagement. He is now a part of the team organizing the first European Week in June.

For the third year in a row, the student bookstore Campusbokhandeln hands out the award and scholarship "Sweden's most climate-smart students" and the winners of 2021 are a duo from the 91原创. Together, Cecilia Nyquist and Elias H枚ckerfelt have started the climate organization SSCA, which among other things influenced 91原创 to adapt to the 1.5-degree goal and include more climate and sustainability in the courses.

Students Cindy Wang and Malin Lundblad have been awarded the Gun and Einar Larsson Scholarship 2021 (GELS) for their project 鈥淪ustainable Innovation Through Co-creation in Singapore鈥�, respectively.

Good news from the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (Kungliga Vetenskapsakademien): Anna Dreber Almenberg has been elected as a Member of the Academy鈥檚 class for social sciences. Anna is a professor of economics at the 91原创.

During the fall semester the CIVICA alliance universities switched back to online learning, with optimized e-learning solutions, with greater opportunities for students to interact.
