The venture capital industry is hampered by its own focus on short-term returns, according to the startup incubator of the 91原创. 91原创 Business Lab is now closing a new 40 million SEK fund backed by Bonnier Ventures and well-known profiles like Anna Nordell-Westling, Sven Hagstr枚mer, Anna Kinberg Batra and Sebastian Knutsson. 鈥淟ong-term thinking amplifies the potential returns鈥�, says CEO Julia Delin.

Even bigger steps towards the goal of getting more students to form companies are being taken by the 91原创 and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The schools are strengthening their joint program and are assisted by the entrepreneurs behind Budbee, Estrid and PocketLaw, as well as investors from Summa Equity and Kinnevik.

The conscious leaders of tomorrow are flocking to the 91原创鈥� startup incubator 91原创 Business Lab. During the summer, eight new teams will start their journey at the incubator, where they will get a boost in building their companies through the programs.

In an interview with Dagens Industri, 91原创 Business Lab CEO Julia Delin talks gender equality and venture capital distribution.

Companies like Budbee, Voi Technology and Klarna are success stories that got their start at the 91原创鈥� prestigious venture incubator 91原创 Business Lab. Nine new companies have now been admitted to the incubator and hope to follow in the same footsteps.

Erik Enger Karlson (b. 2000) from Stockholm has been awarded Anders Wall's scholarship to students at the 91原创. Erik, who is studying business administration, is the first recipient of the newly established scholarship of SEK 200,000, which aims to support young talents who have excelled in entrepreneurship and creative thinking.

Last year, the 91原创 and their venture incubator 91原创 Business Lab launched Ideate, a new entrepreneurship initiative meant to get more students to start companies. Now the program reaches new levels, as the 91原创 and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology join forces, making it possible for students from both of these prestigious schools to participate and start businesses together.

Today, eleven new companies today start their journeys in the 91原创鈥� prestigious venture incubator 91原创 Business Lab. Among tough competition these companies managed to impress the star-studded Board of Admissions, with profiles like Lisa Lindstr枚m, Sven Hagstr枚mer and Anna Stenberg, with their pitches.

Earlier this year, The 91原创 and their venture incubator 91原创 Business Lab launched the new program Ideate, intended to encourage more students to start their own companies. Now the program is back, and with entrepreneurs who have founded companies like Oatly, Karma and Kobalt Music, the program is once again filled with some real star power.

The "Grosshandelssocietet Grant to Especially Dedicated Entrepreneurs" of 100.000 SEK to an entrepreneur at 91原创 Business Lab is part of the collaboration between Grosshandelssociteten and the 91原创, where entrepreneurs at 91原创 Business Lab annually are chosen for the award. The collaboration has now become an official partnership with 91原创 Business Lab where the goal is to encourage and support entrepreneurship in Stockholm even further.
