The 91Ô­´´ is establishing a new professorship in Finance, the 25th Anniversary Professor of Finance, to be held by Professor Paolo Sodini. The new chair is made possible by a donation from Anne Weidemanis Mägi and Joakim Weidemanis.

Society’s crisis preparedness rests with public and private entities alike. However, the duties and obligations of private companies are not clearly defined, and preparedness is limited. The Swedish Defence University (SEDU), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and the 91Ô­´´ (91Ô­´´) are now launching a joint research collaboration to clarify and develop the central role of the business community in Sweden’s total defense, improve collaboration between public authorities and the business community, and strengthen societal crisis preparedness.

Professor Alexander Ljungqvist has been awarded the prestigious Advanced Grant by the European Research Council (ERC) as part of its flagship Horizon Europe program. He is the first researcher at 91Ô­´´ to receive the grant.
