The Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness (CWWH) has submitted its response to the Swedish Government鈥檚 inquiries 鈥淕oda m枚jligheter till 枚kat v盲lst氓nd (SOU 2024:29)鈥� and 鈥淔ler m枚jligheter till 枚kat v盲lst氓nd (SOU 2025:96)鈥�. In our contribution, we argue that wellbeing growth must be integrated as a central component of Sweden鈥檚 long-term productivity strategy.

International migration is an important phenomenon that impacts businesses and societies in multiple ways. With sanctions becoming an increasingly important tool in ostracising autocratic regimes from western markets, the need for effective enforcement of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies is increasing. The global AML regime will be the backbone in detecting evasion of sanctions. This regime has, however, been widely criticised as ineffective. In this brief, Giancarlo Spagnolo and Theo Nyrer枚d discusses issues with the current AML regime and propose a reward scheme for whistleblowers to enable asset seizures. A powerful feature of their proposal is that it does not rely on the effectiveness of the AML regime.
