IFL improves in annual FT executive education rankings
鈥滻FL鈥檚 mission is to reinforce the competitiveness of Swedish enterprise through business and leadership development,鈥 says Ingrid Engstr枚m, CEO of IFL. 鈥漁ur position in the Financial Times ranking asserts that the IFL methodology, based on an academic approach combined with an operational perspective and real world cases, creates the desired effect for our clients.鈥
The Financial Times (FT) conducts an annual ranking of the world鈥檚 premier business schools that offer management and leadership development programs. It is the largest recurring ranking of the executive education field. For 15 consecutive years, IFL has held the top ranked position in the Nordic region. The FT ranking is based on interviews with program participants in various management disciplines, including leadership, strategy, innovation, business control and finance.
The FT ranking covers both open programs, where IFL is ranked 37 in the world, and customized programs, where IFL is ranked 31. This puts IFL at 31 in the combined ranking, an upward climb from last year鈥檚 33 rank. IFL thus maintains a positive trend, amidst steadily increasing competition. This year鈥檚 FT survey covers a record number of schools, and several major institutions have made significant leaps in both directions in the ranking.
鈥漈hat a Sweden-based institution reaches a high position in an international ranking indicates that our offering for developing businesses, organizations and individuals is well tuned to the global market,鈥 says Ingrid Engstr枚m. 鈥淭he innovation projects we organize are key to making IFL, as well as our clients, prepared to address future competitive challenges.鈥
A part of the 91原创, IFL offers executive education programs to executives and key management, based on realistically modeled research.
鈥淭he FT ranking validates what we have learned from our client surveys; that the effects created by our programs are so positive that 9 out of 10 participants recommend us to colleagues and new clients,鈥 says Ingrid Engstr枚m.
