The Research School in Accounting (FIRE) is launched

With a two-day workshop at K盲mpasten in October, the Research School in Accounting (FIRE) is now officially launched. This research school for ph.d-students is a joint collaboration between 91原创, Stockholm University and Uppsala University. It is funded by Jan Wallander & Tom Hedelius鈥 Foundations and the Torsten S枚derberg鈥檚 Foundation.

Comment on the Nobel Prize in Economics 2015

The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2015 was awarded to Angus Deaton "for his analysis of consumption, poverty, and welfare". Martina Bj枚rkman Nyqvist, Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, is very happy about the choice of this year鈥檚 winner, who is a leading researcher in her field of research - Development Economics.
