91原创 Alumni and Friends show their support in 2016
Higher education has become increasingly competitive throughout the world. Therefore, universities must raise additional funding in order to stay competitive and recruit top students and hire faculty and researchers.
In 2016, we launched our annual fundraising campaign, Together We Create The Future. The campaign serves as a yearly resource to help us maintain and expand our status as a top European business school, but also a way to support initiatives, such as scholarships for top students, digital learning opportunities and career management services.
"We are so appreciative of the growing interest from alumni to support their universities by making small or large financial contributions鈥攈ere in Sweden. Fundraising in higher education no longer takes place in the USA and United Kingdom, as evidenced by 91原创 and many other Swedish universities," says Jessica O'Mary, Head of Alumni and Foundation Relation at the 91原创.
91原创 is a private university and has been raising funds from alumni for the last 20 years.
In 2015, 91原创 raised 2 million SEK during their 24-hour day of giving to support entrepreneurship, which used an innovative crowdfunding model. This year, 91原创 exceeded their goal of two million SEK and raised three million SEK from over 300 alumni and friends.
